Uganda will receive USD 2 billion in concessional financing from the World Bank over three years, bringing total support to USD 4.9 billion, according to Ramathan Ggoobi, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance. Funds will target infrastructure, energy, agriculture, and social protection, while the IFC will back private sector investments in mining, agribusiness, and renewable energy.
