Uganda officially launched ABQ Cloud on March 2, 2026 at the Raxio Data Centre in Kampala, a sovereign cloud platform designed to host data, public services, SMEs and local innovators. The infrastructure aims to strengthen data sovereignty, reduce reliance on foreign providers and support the digital ecosystem. Minister Monica Musenero Masanza, Roke Cloud executives and innovation officials highlighted ABQ Cloud’s role in fostering innovation and artificial intelligence for businesses and the public sector.
