Uganda signed a $4B agreement with Alpha MBM Investments LLC (UAE) to build its first oil refinery in Hoima. Alpha MBM holds 60%, while 40% goes to Uganda National Oil Company. With a 60,000 bpd capacity, the project is a major step for Uganda’s energy sector.
