Uganda : $28.1 billion needed for sustainable development

Between 2023 and 2030, Uganda requires $28.1 billion (over UGX 78.3 trillion) to fast-track its sustainable development goals. According to the Ministry of Finance, the funds will support green infrastructure and cut greenhouse gas emissions by 25%. Only 15% is expected to be raised domestically, with the remainder coming from international grants and loans.
