Tunisia will be the gateway to Africa through a bilateral agreement with the USA. The Minister of Commerce, Omar Behi, signed an agreement with Joseph C. Semsar, Acting Undersecretary of Commerce, to strengthen bilateral trade relations between Tunisia and the United States. “The two countries are two historical partners in terms of security”, J.C. Semsar reminds us. From now on, it will continue, it is a question of strengthening the commercial partnership to encourage the American presence in Tunisia.
Thus, Tunisia would become a new commercial base for the USA in Africa.
