Scatec ASA has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement with STEG to develop a 120 MW solar plant in Sidi Bouzid II, Tunisia. Estimated at €87 million, the project is part of Tunisia’s renewable energy targets to reach 30% renewable by 2030. Scatec will hold a 50% stake in the project, which is vital to reducing the country’s reliance on gas imports.
