Tunisia: Launch of the platform for self-entrepreneurs
On November 11, during a press briefing at the Kasbah Palace, the Tunisian government officially launched the platform for self-entrepreneurs. This event marks the culmination of a four-year process that introduced a new legal status for independent workers. Covering 540 economic activities, the self-entrepreneur status is expected to benefit over 260,000 people, with an annual target of 25,000 registrations. This eagerly awaited development will support freelancers, artisans, and independent workers in Tunisia.
