Tunisia landing of : MEDUSA, a submarine cable strengthens connectivity

The landing of the MEDUSA submarine cable in Bizerte marks a major milestone for Tunisia in Euro-African and Middle Eastern digital connectivity. Stretching 8,000 km, MEDUSA will link 13 Mediterranean countries, with the Tunisian segment of 1,040 km providing a maximum capacity of 24 Tbps. Led by Orange Tunisia and supported by the European Union, the project positions Tunisia as a regional digital hub, advancing digital transformation, research collaboration, and sustainable digital inclusion.
