The 100 MW photovoltaic solar plant in Kairouan will start production in October 2025. As the first step in a national 500 MW program covering Tataouine, Gafsa, Tozeur, and Sidi Bouzid, it benefits from a partnership with Dubai-based Amaia Power and the support of Minister Fatima Thabet Chiboub. The project aims to reduce production costs and boost renewables to 35% by 2030.
