Tunisia : Foreign Direct Investments Increase by 20.8% in H1 2025

According to data released on August 28, 2025, by FIPA-Tunisia, foreign direct investments (FDI) reached 1,650.3 million Tunisian dinars (approximately 537.2 million USD) in the first half of 2025, marking a 20.8% increase compared to the same period in 2024. This growth is driven by the manufacturing industry (+22.9%) and the energy sector (+60%), fueled by renewable energy projects and the resumption of oil exploration. France remains the leading investor, followed by Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United States. Qatar stands out as the primary Arab investor. This trend aligns with a national strategy aimed at diversifying economic partners and enhancing the country’s competitiveness.
