Chinese President Xi Jinping and his Tunisian counterpart, Kaïs Saïed, announced a strategic partnership during Mr. Saïed’s official visit to China. The two leaders discussed cooperation in various fields, including environment, economy, and health. They also issued a joint statement on the establishment of a strategic partnership. President Saïed’s historic visit to China coincided with the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and the opening ceremony of the 10th Ministerial Conference of the Sino-Arab Cooperation Forum.
