On May 26, 2025, the Tunisia Investment Authority (TIA) granted preliminary approvals for three tourism accommodation projects totaling 176 million dinars (about $57 million). The projects will generate 421 direct jobs. The Commission also approved a request to repurpose agricultural land under Decree No. 68 of 2022.
