Tunisia : 500 new buses and a high-speed train to modernizing public transport 

President Kais Saïed met with Transport Minister Rachid Amri on February 25, 2025, to discuss public transport modernization. 500 new buses will be imported, including 300 from China, to improve the public transport network. Additionally, a high-speed train linking the north and south will be fast-tracked to boost mobility and the economy. The president praised the involvement of Tunisians abroad in these strategic projects.
