Trade Finance: Afreximbank opens COTFIA applications until May 31, 2026

On March 18, 2026, the Banque africaine d’import‑export launched applications for the 2026 edition of the Certificate in Trade Finance in Africa (COTFIA) through its AFRACAD academy. Designed with Factors Chain International, the American University in Cairo and Quarter Bank, the program strengthens skills for banking professionals and trade finance practitioners—key to supporting Zone de libre‑échange continentale africaine implementation. Since its 2021 restructuring, over 150 professionals have been trained, according to Afreximbank. Applications close on May 31, 2026.
