According to the WTO, Africa was the only continent to record trade growth in 2023, despite a 1.1% global decline. While Europe and the CIS saw drops of 2.6% and 4.5% respectively, Africa demonstrated remarkable potential. With its young population and abundant resources, it is emerging as a pivotal driver of global trade, drawing increasing attention from major powers such as China, the US, and Türkiye.
