The Togo has signed a memorandum of understanding with Chinese firm Weihai International Economic and Technical Cooperative Co. Ltd to develop projects in health, renewable energy, infrastructure and research. The agreement was signed by Arthur Trimua and Lu Xinyong. No financial details have been disclosed. The partnership aligns with China’s Belt and Road Initiative and Togo’s strategy to attract foreign investment and accelerate structural transformation.
