Togo African summit against fake medicines announced in Lomé

A summit to bring together seven African Presidents is announced for January 16 and 17 in Lomé to launch an initiative to intensify the fight against the trafficking of fake medicines in Africa. This summit is organized by Togo in partnership with the Brazzaville Foundation. Besides the Togolese President, Faure Gnassingbé, host of the summit, the other heads of state expected in Lomé are Denis Sassou N’Guesso from Congo-Brazzaville, Adama Barrow from Gambia, Mahamadou Issoufou from Niger, Yoweri Museveni from Uganda, Macky Sall from Senegal and Nana Akufo-Addo from Ghana.
