Togo : signing of a strategic agreement with Huawei for digital transformation

At the 9th Sino-African Economic Forum (FOCAC 2024) in China, Togolese President Faure Gnassingbé met with key players in the tech sector, including Huawei. This visit was a significant step towards Togo’s goal of becoming a digital hub.

The President attended a presentation of Huawei’s innovative projects in infrastructure and ICT, aligning perfectly with Togo’s ambitions. Huawei expressed interest in future cooperation, culminating in the signing of a strategic agreement for digital transformation by Togolese Minister of Commerce, Kayi Mivedor-Sambiani.
