On May 30, 2024, Togo and Japan signed a financing agreement for the Economic and Social Development Program. Togo will receive agricultural and civil engineering equipment worth 1.2 billion FCFA ($2,000,000). This equipment will support agricultural production and aid vulnerable producers.
