Togo : major power grid works to meet demand and target universal access by 2030

The Togolese government outlined progress in modernizing its electricity network to ease congestion and ensure reliable supply in cities. Key projects include 250 km of new 161 kV lines linking Davié, Notsé, Kpalimé and Atakpamé, upgraded substations, and relocation of the Momé Hagou–Adjarala line. These investments strengthen energy security and support the goal of universal access by 2030.
