In Togo, the electrification rate rose to 45% in 2018, said the Minister of Mines and Energy, Marc Ably-Bidamon. A performance that is the result, he explains, of the new connections of the Electric Power Company of Togo (CEET) and the activity of BBOXX. Out of 50,000 connections planned, CEET has connected nearly 65,000 new customers in 2018, compared to 40,000 the previous year, a jump of more than 60%. Additionally, BBOXX electrified nearly 10,000 homes in 2018.
