Togo The Renewable Energy Agency is looking for investors for two 60 to 80 MWac solar power plants

The Togolese Agency for Rural Electrification and Renewable Energies (AT2ER) has launched a prequalification notice for the selection of one or more independent producers of electricity for the design, financing, construction, l ‘installation, commissioning and operation of two photovoltaic solar power plants with a total cumulative installed capacity of between 60 and 80 MWac (unit of measurement in alternating current). The two plants will be awarded in the form of a 25-year concession. They are planned in Kpalassi in Awandjélo in the Kara region, and in Salimdè in Sokodé in the Central region of Togo. The contract will consist of two lots, a tenderer being able to win both lots « if he offers the best prices ». Pre-qualification files for interested private investors are expected at AT2ER until March 30, 2020.
