Globeleq, the main independent electricity producer in sub-Saharan Africa, has signed a joint development agreement with the Togolese government to develop a renewable energy project for commercial purposes. Under the terms of the agreement, Globeleq and the Togolese government plan to generate between 24 and 30 MW of reliable, inexpensive and 100% renewable energy to support Togo’s industrial development policy.
