Togo : fintech Ollo Africa raises capital to $1.65m

Togolese fintech Ollo Africa S.A. has completed a capital increase approved in December 2024, lifting equity from CFA 68m ($112k) to CFA 1bn ($1.65m) with the entry of Togolese and US business angels. Licensed by BCEAO, the company digitises traditional savings groups (tontines) through Ohana Africa.

 The funds will support customer acquisition in Togo, platform development, team expansion and financial literacy, ahead of a gradual UEMOA rollout. 

Around 5,000 family accounts are already managed, backed by a strategic partnership with Ecobank.
