Togo 8 billion FCFA of financing for farmers and nearly 140,000 jobs created in 2019

The Risk-Sharing Agricultural Financing Incentive Mechanism (MIFA) has mobilized a total of CFAF 8.116 billion in financing for 76,500 agricultural stakeholders, and has facilitated the creation of nearly 140,000 jobs. 187 contracts were signed throughout the year between the Mechanism and the various actors in the value chains, either for product purchases or for agricultural services, all for a total amount of FCFA 20.699 billion.
