Togo : 6.3% Growth Expected in 2025

Meeting in Lomé on September 30, 2025, the National Credit Council (CNC), chaired by Finance Minister Essowé Georges Barcola, highlighted Togo’s resilience. Growth is forecast at 6.3% in 2025, driven by an 8% rise in the services sector. Inflation eased to 1.2%, while public debt dropped to 65% of GDP. Bank lending surged 22% to CFAF 543 bn. The CNC urged banks and microfinance institutions to improve customer service and credit management.
