Telecoms : Orange Strengthens Euro-African Connectivity with Medusa Submarine Cable in Marseille

Orange has landed the 1,050 km Medusa submarine cable in Marseille, linking France and Tunisia. Co-financed by the European Union under the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) and Global Gateway, the project enhances digital capacity between Europe and Africa. Operated by Orange Marine, the eco-responsible installation further cements Marseille’s position as a global connectivity hub, now hosting 17 international cables.
