Tanzania : South Korean company wants to invest $40 million in project

With anode production already estimated at 82,000 tons in 2022, the South Korean company Posco wants to more than quadruple this figure by 2030. To achieve this, it is multiplying agreements with future graphite producers in Tanzania, country which will provide more than 10% of the world’s supply by 2030. It is in this sense that it has signed a new non-binding memorandum of understanding in order to acquire a 19.9% interest or invest 40 million dollars in Black Rock Mining.
