Swedfund invests 20 million euros to support SMEs in West Africa

As part of its commitment to bridging the financing gap for SMEs in West Africa, Swedfund, the Swedish development finance institution, has announced a 20 million euro investment in the COFINA Group, a major player in mesofinance in Africa. This funding aims to support SMEs, particularly those led by women, in Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal, where access to financial services remains limited.
