Spotlight : 5 innovative African startups shaping local and global impact
Local innovation for global impact” was the central theme of the 7th Transform Africa Summit. ANA met with five African startups to explore how they combine local innovation with international reach.
1. Club Scientifique de Guinée – Guinea
This initiative turns children’s scientific knowledge into practical solutions for smart agriculture, home automation, and environmental management. These solutions are shared with the population, creating both local and global impact.

2. NeoLedge – Tunisia
NeoLedge develops digital solutions for the public sector in North Africa and the Middle East, adapting advanced technologies to local needs. The startup works on automation, document management, and digital transformation of administrations to improve efficiency and service accessibility.

3. IDA LINK – Senegal
IDA LINK adapts existing technologies to the Senegalese context, using AI for data management and security. The startup combines local and international information to provide innovative solutions for governments and regional institutions.

4. GFO – Benin
GFO focuses on local innovation by creating its own technological solutions while partnering with regional startups. The company impacts the telecom ecosystem, making technology services more accessible locally, while gradually exporting solutions internationally.

5. QT Global Software Ltd – Rwanda
QT Global develops digital solutions for health, education, and local government, leveraging Rwandan talent. The company emphasizes knowledge transfer to ensure sustainable solutions, training local teams to maintain and expand projects beyond QT’s direct involvement.

These startups showcase Africa’s ability to generate innovative solutions addressing local challenges while having a global reach.
