South Africa : Bamboo enables US stock access from 150 ZAR

Nigerian investment platform Bamboo has launched in South Africa, allowing local users to invest in US-listed stocks from just 150 ZAR through fractional investing. Backed by Y Combinator, Bamboo offers real-time trades, local currency deposits, and dollar-based exposure. “South Africans are ready to build wealth beyond borders,” said co-founder Yanmo Omorogbe. The move reflects a growing demand for accessible global wealth-building tools in African markets.
