South Africa : Afreximbank and Government Sign Historic Deal to Accelerate Infrastructure 

Afreximbank has taken a major step in supporting infrastructure development in South Africa by signing a historic Joint Project Preparation Facility (JPPF) agreement with the South African government. The deal, concluded during the 2025 Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF2025) in Algiers, aims to fast-track bankable projects in energy, transport, logistics, and digital infrastructure. This strategic partnership is expected to mobilize at least $750 million, create jobs, and boost industrialization.
