Sudan: Electric power returns to Darfur

Electricity has been restored to several towns and villages in Darfur, after an interruption of more than a week. Power outages have been a problem for over two months. In reality, it was the Turkish company Karadeniz, which supplies the Sudanese national grid, which cut off supplies after an unpaid bill from the Sudanese government.
