On January 17, 2026, Impact Fund Denmark committed $15 million to the Verdant Capital Hybrid Fund (VCHF) to boost financing for African SMEs. The hybrid and mezzanine fund enables banks, microfinance institutions, and fintechs in 10 countries, including Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and South Africa, to lend to local entrepreneurs, supporting job creation and sustainable economic growth.
