2017 was a very successful year for tourism in the Seychelles. According to the Seychelles Tourist Office (STO), the country recorded an increase of 50,000 visitors compared to 2016. According to the STO, no the less than 50.000 German nationals entered the country for tourism purposes, despite Air Seychelles discontinuing direct flights to Dusseldorf.
