In 2025, Senegal produced 36.1 million barrels of crude oil from the offshore Sangomar project, surpassing initial forecasts (30.53 M) and the June revision (34.7 M). In December alone, production reached 2.94 million barrels, driven by high reservoir and well productivity. Meanwhile, the Grande Tortue Ahmeyim (GTA) gas project exported 0.5 million m³ of LNG in three shipments.
