Senegal : launch of SenTrésor, a major step towards digitalizing public payments

On June 2, 2025, in Dakar, Finance and Budget Minister Cheikh Diba officially launched SenTrésor, a new digital platform for public service payments. Developed by the General Directorate of Public Accounting and Treasury (DGCPT), this initiative aligns with the Senegal 2050 Vision and the Technological New Deal. Since its pilot phase began on March 28, 2025, SenTrésor has processed payments for over 44,000 beneficiaries, totaling more than 4 billion CFA francs (approximately USD 6.6 million).
