The value of Senegal’s gold production reached 655.245 billion CFA francs (about $1.18 billion) in 2025, according to official data released by the National Agency of Statistics and Demography (ANSD). This represents a 42.2% increase compared with 2024, when gold output was estimated at 460.857 billion CFA francs (around $829 million). Gold remains one of Senegal’s key mining exports and a major contributor to national export revenues.
