Senegal : five bilateral agreements signed with Rwanda to strengthen cooperation

On October 17, 2025, Senegalese President Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, during a state visit to Kigali, and his Rwandan counterpart Paul Kagame signed five agreements covering visa exemptions, agriculture, health, development planning, and correctional services. The partnership aims to boost African integration, share expertise, and promote common prosperity. The visit included a tribute at the Kigali Genocide Memorial.
