Senegal is reassessing the public-private partnership contract for a seawater desalination plant on the Grande Côte, signed in March 2024 with Saudi firm ACWA Power. The updated offer from October 2024 adjusts public participation to 60 billion CFA francs. This $770M project aims to supply 400,000 m³ of drinking water daily.
