Félix Ndagijimana, Director of Rwandan Programs at the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund and the Karisoke Research Center, has just revealed that the delivery of the Ellen DeGeneres campus, near the Volcanoes National Park of Rwanda in the Kinigi sector of the Musanze district, will be delayed. This project, started in February 2019 and which should open in early 2021, was disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic. The construction of the campus, to the tune of US $ 10 millions, which is expected to boost mountain gorilla conservation efforts and promote tourism in Rwanda, is at 50%.
