Rwanda has introduced new guidelines to ease the integration of international students into its higher education institutions. These measures include the establishment of dedicated liaison offices and the requirement for foreign students to prove their financial ability to cover their expenses. With over 9,100 international students enrolled in 2024, up from 1,400 in 2017, the country is becoming an increasingly popular educational destination.
