Rwanda : International Vaccine Institute Chooses Kigali for Its African Regional Office
On November 25, 2024, the International Vaccine Institute (IVI) signed an agreement with the Rwandan government to establish its African Regional Office in Kigali, selected over other competing cities. This new office will serve as a hub for research and innovation in global health. Rwanda, already involved in vaccine production, will play a key role in ensuring equitable access to vaccines across Africa. Founded in 1997, IVI’s mission focuses on providing safe, effective, and affordable vaccines for global health.
