Rwanda has officially launched the implementation of its Green Taxonomy Roadmap, approved by Cabinet in April 2025. The framework will channel capital into green, climate-resilient and inclusive investments while curbing greenwashing risks. According to Rwanda Finance CEO Hortense Mudenge, the taxonomy strengthens KIFC’s position as a trusted hub for climate-conscious investors and innovation in green financial products.
