Rwanda : government signed a 15-Year Industrial Quarry License to CIMERWA

The Government of Rwanda, through the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) and Rwanda Mines, Petroleum and Gas Board (RMB), has signed a 15-year industrial quarry license agreement with CIMERWA Plc. The deal facilitates a $190 million investment in a state-of-the-art clinker manufacturing facility which will significantly enhance #domestic cement production capacity. The project aims to cut cement imports by 40%, create 500+ jobs and support infrastructure growth through sustainable mineral extraction.
