Rwanda’s economy expanded by 7.8% in Q1 2025, according to the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR). Services, the largest economic contributor (41% of GDP), grew by 9% year-on-year. The industry sector also rose by 9%, accounting for 23% of GDP, while agriculture, representing 24%, showed modest growth of 2%. The data reflects Rwanda’s continued push for economic diversification.
