Rwanda has initiated clinical trials to develop a vaccine against the Marburg virus, a hemorrhagic fever similar to Ebola. This move comes after 11 confirmed deaths since September. The Ministry of Health is monitoring 410 individuals who have been in contact with suspected cases, in an effort to contain the spread of the virus.
