Rwanda: a strategy to stimulate e-commerce growth

The strategy outlines a five-year action plan to foster an enabling environment for e-commerce in Rwanda, involving both the public and private sectors. It includes detailed frameworks for governance, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.

It is the result of a long-standing partnership between UNCTAD, the Rwandan government and the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. The German development agency known as GIZ, the International Trade Centre and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law have also contributed to the strategy.
