The Rwanda Mining, Oil and Gas Board (RMB) on Wednesday announced the immediate revocation of the mining licenses of seven companies as part of a move aimed at promoting a safe, productive and professional mining sector. A decision which follows repeated failures to remedy serious deficiencies highlighted in official cancellation warnings previously issued.
