Report: Private capital industry experiences new decline
The African private capital industry is seeing a slowdown for the second consecutive year, according to the African Private Capital Association (AVCA). Year-to-date, 287 transactions have been recorded, representing an 11% drop compared to 324 deals in 2023. While deal volumes have seen a slight decrease, investment values have declined more significantly, with the first quarter marking the lowest start in five years.
